In today's tutorial we'll be making the Easy Breezy Chunky Beanie!
This pattern creates a thick and warm beanie perfect for the colder months! It's beginner friendly and works up quickly! This design is unisex and great for anyone!
Check the chart in the video for all the size information, the pattern includes 8 sizes but you can adjust it to make ANY size!

Hello, I am a 16 year old girl who picked up crocheting in the year 2019. I like to make things for the people i care about and for my self. I just finished making the Beanie. It took me about 2 days to work on it bec I took brakes and had other stuff to do. I made it for my friend who loves beanies. It is a birthday gift and I hope she likes it. This was my first project as a newbie! The hat came out lovely but the adult large was comically too big for my head! I am definitely going to tackle this again and adjust the sizing. I'm making this for a coworker who made me a beautiful scarf. Unfortunately I only had a 4 worsted weight so it's going to be more of a fall pattern but I'm excited to finish and give it to her. I watched several videos, because I wanted to make a hat. And I chose this one. It was a great choice. Just completed my first hat, and it is thick, warm and perfect. It will be for my son in Colorado who works on the ski slopes through winter, and This turned out perfect for him! I will make myself one next. LoL I used a super bulky #6 and a medium #4 together. Soon I will venture to socks and footies. I will subscribe to your videos and hopefully find some tutorials on this there. Thanks so much. Be well stay safe ❤️

When slip stitching the ends together you say to go through the front loop of the last row we did...but it looks like the back loop? Is it the loop farthest from us?

Thank you so much Kas! Some other yarns I love for this pattern are Lion Brand Hue + Me and Hobby Lobby's I Love This Chunky. But you can really use any Bulky (5) Weight Yarn!

Great instructions and easy to do for sure! I attempted to do this with a 10mm needle and size 6 yarn because that is what I had. Unfortunately it didn't work haha. The beanie was way to thick and too tall it looked silly. Totally my fault though, just thought I'd share incase anyone is thinking about trying the same thing. I will definitely try again when I have the proper supplies. Thanks for sharing!

Oh no! Sorry that happened, yarn size and hook size really make a difference for getting the sizing right. I do have another beanie pattern like this that does use super bulky (6) weight yarn if you wanted to try again with the yarn you have!
