Hi there. Statutory declaration is a document they confirms your relationship to Canadian citizen or permanent resident. It’s a two page document that needs to be filled out and signed by your Canadian relative and then stamped by an authorized Canadian representative, like a notary. Your relative will need to bring it to the notary for signing and stamping. Do you have a relative that is Canadian resident or citizen?

Last day of application is October 22, 2024. It is a limited program and only lasts for one year. In order to be eligible for this program, you parents need to have Canadian visa and physically be in Canada during application. Once they apply, they are allowed to go outside the country, as long as they have eligible documents to come back (like visitor visa). They would also have to be in Canada once PR is approved. The documents can be translated in Ukrainian consulate or by official notary/translator. Are you a Canadian citizen or permanent resident? Are they going to be applying having you as their Canadian relative?

@@ЛиляЮляиТигруля in most cases your application won't be rejected right away - if there's anything missing, you will be notified and asked to provide additional documents. In terms of using this particular program - pathway for Ukrainians for PR - it has an end date, which is October 22d, 2024, which is only 2 months away. So make sure to apply before this date. Also, if you are panning to apply through your boyfriend, make sure you can prove that you are in common-law status, otherwise you won't be eligible. As for your parents, since you are their only tie to Canada and you don't have PR yet, they won't be able to apply through this particular program. Once you get your PR, you can start looking into family reunion programs, which are sponsorship programs for family members. Let me know if you have any more questions, we'll try to help:)

Hi there. For this particular program, cousins are not considered close relatives. If that’s your case, you won’t be considered eligible to apply through this program. Have you looked into other PR pathways?

Hi Please help me about program for Ukranian and possibility to make permanent residence in Canada if having relatives who carry Canadian permanent or citizenship. I am Ukranian citizenship and my husband has Ukranian permanent residence, my parents in law have Canadian permanent residence, is it possible to apply under this program to get Canadian permanent?I saw that parents qualify and what about parents in law?

They would either count the one you submitted during CUAET application, or will ask for additional one. I know a case when PR application was submitted and then the email came asking to provide biometrics again. Nothing wrong or bad in that, they just sometimes ask for additional information. In this case they will provide you instruction in when and where to submit it. How long ago did you apply for PR through this program?

Не сподобалось, що у разі відмови мені повенуть фігу з моїх грошей я не була впевнена, вони написали що можливо їм потрвбні знову мої відбитки. Чи маю яправо виїзжати з Канади на цей період?

Technically, they can leave Canada in between. But they would need to have valid documents for reentry to Canada, like valid visa. And once they receive confirmation of PR, they need to come back as quickly as possible, otherwise it may be considered that they abandon their application. So be mindful of these points and keep yourself informed about the progress of the application. Hope this helps:)

Hi there. I know that some people who applied in November received their biometric requests for beginning of January. So I would say approx. 2 months. But it is all individual. Have you already applied?

Hi there. This program is made for a specific case - when people have relatives in Canada. In all other cases you can apply through several other available immigration programs. Express Entry is a good place to start. Are you currently in Canada?

Hi there! Based on this program, a spouse and common-law partner are considered qualifying family members, so you should be good. Either you can prove that you are common-law with your boyfriend, or once you get married. Hope this helps:)

Hi there. This program is aimed at temporary visitors with relatives in Canada. As you came through CUAET, this makes you a temporary visa holder. Do you have any close relatives who are Canadian Residents or Citizens?

Hi there. CUAET program is no longer accepting applications. At this point, your girlfriend can apply through general process for a Canadian visitor visa. Does she also have family in Canada? And what’s your status in Canada?

Im not living in Canada, im not Canadian citizen, but she want to move there, and then after some time she want to take me there too, she hold Residence Permit Till 2025 from UK, but we want to move there, after she apply for visit visa in Canada, is she able to apply for PR, thanks
