@@zeddgamedesigner this problem occurs when you import a 3d model from sketchup, if the 3d model in sketchup properly not textured, 3dsmax can't determine the scale of the surface texture.

If you have bump map, put it in bump slot, make sure the material you put in diffuse is properly scaled. The bump map and diffuse map should be same scaled.
