Nicely done! Going to do this around my swimming pool, I found out the pool drains are packed with clay and pebbles. Thank you. Never knew you could use this saw with concrete blade, 62 and still learning 👍🇨🇦

I would seal where the windows sit with proper waterproof cement all around, because water will find a way to get a way.

Hey Jeremy, Thank you for watching. Yes you can. But you must possibly measure width of great 1 st. The method I show is simple lumber width. Thanks again for watching!

Oh, p.s. you will need to cut a lip for grate to sit ondo this by setting saw depth to about 1/2 inch. Make pass on both left and right sides of channel for overall width needed to set a grate.

Could you have built up the concrete at the base of the building to block and divert the water instead? I'm nervous about cutting into my driveway, thanks.

Hey Sean, Thank you for watching. You could but If you have a sloping driveway towards the garage door, you might consider a channel drain system with grates and a pump system to remove water from the area. Unless, you have a place for the water to go as I did in the video. It must be able to move away quickly from the area. Thanks again for watching

why not cut the channel as close as possible to the plate or structure? you can still get an overflow or water over? or seal the are better to prevent flooding

Hey nas, Thank you for watching. You Can't cut straight lines with a saw and can't chip away concrete. It would chip and break under sill plate. Must do as directed. Thanks again for watching!
