Beautiful blanket. As lovely as this pattern is, if you attempt anything larger than a baby quilt, you will be creating a very, very expensive blanket, as this pattern "gobbles" a lot of yarn. Thank you for sharing!

@@brendacrawford93Chain an odd number until you're satisfied with the width. This example is 17 (+1) chains, followed by 17 sc, so you need an odd number of chains, plus one for the turn, giving an odd number of sc for the first row. Second row: change color (if you like) at the chain 1, turn, then sc 1, ch 1, (3 loops tog) puff, ch 1, [sk 1, puff, ch 1]... ending with a sc. Third row: ch1, turn, sc 1, ch 1, sk 1, (3 loops tog) puff into the stitch you skipped the row before, ch 1, [sk 1, puff, ch 1]... ending with sk 1, sc 1. Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows, carrying your new color up the side (or adding a different color) at the chain 1, until you achieve your desired length. Then finish with a single crochet (as shown), and add edging if you'd like.

Try cutting out sugar, reduce the amounts of meat eat instead lots of healthy fresh unprocessed fruit, veg, Pulses nuts and mushrooms. My arthritis is gone completely since I changed diet seven years ago. And before that I was very bad, couldn't sleep at night because of the pains. And now it's gone completely! Since seven years. Please try that, you've got nothing to loose. I'm crocheting and knitting again for the grandchildren 🙂🙃

I would love to try this, but I first need to know how many chains to do. Can you make another tutorial and put in the number of chains needed for even just the swatch size that you are doing. Those of us who have a bit of experience but not a lot. Might be able to figure it out after. So please do another with the chain count included. Thanks.

Chain an odd number until you're satisfied with the width.
