There are many uses for a mason jar cover! Use it to hold your crochet hooks, pencils or any other item. Use them as tealight candle holders or even make a large one to hold a centerpiece for a table.
What skills do I need to know to crochet this pattern?
This crochet jar cover pattern uses the magic ring, chain, and double crochet - that's it! If you haven't made a magic ring before, don't worry, the video will walk you through it. If you're still having trouble getting started, ch 2 and work the first round of dc in the second chain from the hook (this leaves a very small hole but it's what I did until I got the hang of the magic ring!).
What size jar do I need to crochet this pattern?
Any size will do! The sample seen in the video is the small jar, which is an 8-ounce mason jar, but on the blog there are also instructions for a pint jar and tips for customizing for any jar (which are also in this video!)
