How to crochet easy shells tote market bag step by step tutorial.
Finished size:
Height without handles: 31 cm
Width: 32 cm
Depth: 8,5 cm
Materials used:
Worsted - Aran weight macrame cord type yarn (thickness - 3 mm). I used YarnArt Macrame Cotton (250 grams / 225 meters) 80% Cotton, 20% Manufactured Fibers - Polyester.
2 skeins (approx. 315 meters) needed for this pattern.
4,5 mm crochet hook, measuring tape, 4 stitch markers, latch hook for weaving in the ends, scissors.
Abbreviations (US terms):
st. / sts - stitch / stitches, sl st. - slip stitch, ch - chain, sc - single crochet, dc - double crochet.
( )* - repeat instructions between brackets the number of times indicated.

Hello Im a year late but i hope you can help me. I’m planning to make this bag for college and my ipad is 13inch so i would like to increase the width of this bag just a little. Can I use 35 foundation chain or stick to the rule and use 38 chains? Wont that be too big?

Hi. I really love your beautiful shell tote bag and I tried twice to make till round 4 but couldn't get it right. I'm not sure where is the mistake, instead of getting (repeat 15 times around), mine is more than 15, I think 17. Kindly help me out, why there are extras. Tqvm.

I keep on getting 16 instead of 15 with row 4 Previous row 3 stitch count was correct. Is it skip 2 or 3 lol.

I had issues with the sides being even, everytime I secured with the slip stitch it was a loose corner and the eventually just got slimmed out as the rows increased

I started crocheting earlier this month and this video is really nice. It's taken me about a week of intense crocheting to finish this bag and I'm really happy with the result even though I didn't make it perfectly. Thank you for the tutorial :D, definitely going to look into making your other videos. I just wish there were time stamps for each row so it's easier to go back to where I left off when I got lost.
