Hello, I just started to crochet, and I decided to do a double crochet project and I did something wrong. Do you know any single crochet variations or half double crochet variations that look similar to double crochet?
When I was doing the increases the skirt started to curl is there something I have done wrong? Sorry I think it’s just because I’m a beginner at crochet and probably made a mistake somewhere lovely tutorial otherwise
Hi, I am new to crochet and am trying to do this skirt. Now the problem is when I am doing the double crochet for the waist band mine keep reducing. I know am doing something wrong cos you started with 15 chains then your second chain you get 14 onwards. Each time I do a new chain mine reduces. Can you help me please
Make sure you arent skipping any chains when starting double crochet. This is my 4th project I’m making and I switched to a 4mm crochet needle instead of using the recommended 5.5mm needle for the yarn I’m using. I’m not sure if this is the answering but sizing down helped me insert through each chain easier and I’m not getting uneven rows. I would often see that the ending of my rows were more stretched compared to the start making them look very uneven even though they are the same amount of chains & rows. Hope you solve your trouble
