I hate counting stitches 😄. And people use different yarn sizes or even the tightness of our stitches can never be the same. That’s why I like to use measurements, quite adjustable for any yarn type and size
Today, I am a new subscriber of your tutorials to crochet wonderful sweaters. So glad to find your tutorials today. Your instructions are so easy to follow. Now, I am inspired to make this beautiful cardigan.
i just finished a cardigan today and i said i wasnt making another one for a while.....now thanks to this video i lied to myself and wil begin making this ASAP lol. beautiful tutorial and love the look of the outcome. amazing job as always!
@@lavernechilds3560the minus does not belong. She said her shoulder to shoulder measurement was 15 and add 1 inch. The minus is for the front panel. Shoulder to shoulder is 15-5=10, 10/2=5 front panels.
Agnes, you are so very gifted and talented in your skill! I appreciate you so much! Thank you for sharing your gift with the world and what a better place the world is with you in it!
I just finished this sweater and it is such a pretty pattern. Your instructions are excellent and it's so much smarter using measurements than it is counting stitches and rows. Thank you!! I'll be making more!
I´ve just finished this cardigan and it looks so pretty and cozy! It´s the first time I actually finish a clothing project and I could´nt be more satisfied about it. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow, I´ll be definitely trying new tutorials. Thank you so muchh Agnes!
Very very nice. I've just completed 2 blankets in this pattern. Never thought of making a cardi...thanks so much...this will be the first cardigan I will attempt to make. Your instructions are perfect for a beginner like me. Thank you!

Hi Agnes thanks for your explanation you are so a star, I have got a question, am new in crotcheting or knitting, how can I find my neckline measurements?
Holaa desde que te descubri 😂 estoy encantada con tu manera de explicar cada paso de tus videos todos tus proyectos son maravillosos un abrazo desde CHILE 🇨🇱
Lovely sweater....your tutorial is perfect. I had my doubts, but I just finished it, used a beautiful Cotton CandyPink just like yours and I am in awe over it. Thank you so much xx I will make more for this coming winter season... xx
I am a slow crocheter but I would love to have this for Pentecost Sunday. I can’t fool myself into thinking I can do this in a 2x by Sunday. Maybe a Sunday soon!
I think I am going to try this. I have been looking for a nice cardigan with a simple pattern. This seems to be a good place to start. Thank you for this.
Very easy pattern. Will eventually make a sweater, however I like the pattern so much that I’m making cotton dishcloths from the pattern with the exception I’m using HDC stitch.
Hi , you have to take your measurements for what I mentioned and follow what I said. shoulder measurements and add the inches I said. I think I mentioned all measurements you need to take to be able to make it in any size.
I am so glad I found you! Love this pattern and Thank You so much for your detailed instructions and tutorial I was able to follow along with no problem so this sweater project was very enjoyable for me to make. I am going to give this sweater to my mom for Easter. Look forward to making more of your projects.🥰♥️✝️
Thanks for sharing ❤ Please, how many wool can i use for this, that will be enough for exactly this pattern? and the size of the wool you used, please i love to make one 🙏
Hermosooooooooo. Lo empezaré pronto. Muchas gracias por los subtitulos en ESPAÑOL. Te seguiré me encanto lo bien que explicas. Un abrazo desde BOGOTÁ COLOMBIA 🇨🇴
I managed to make this pattern cardi for my daughter it took me a week. I am not doing it full-time 🎉 I am proud of myself I think to make one for myself❤
I always thought you’re supposed to start the row with the same stitches that you end the row. Is that just for conformity for blankets, washcloths, etc?
Thank you for this tutorial & beautiful pattern. You explain it very well and easy to understand. I love it and ready to give it a try. May i ask how many ball of yarn if i use double knit for a medium size.
Love this pattern, I usually have a problem doing sweaters but this is turning out great I do have one question with the trim I'd like to do a different color what do you think
This is a beautiful cardigan! You are an excellent instructor and I love the simplicity of your sizing. I would love to see a long duster cardigan with light weight stitch and outside pockets! I have crocheted hats and scarves and haven't crocheted clothes. You are inspiring me to give it a try. Thank you!
The tutorial is based on measurements, so just take your measurements and make it in your size. I don’t write patterns, you can make it in any size as long as you take the suggested measurements
Hello there apologies if this was already covered but does the front panel foundation chain need to be a multiple of 3 plus 2 chains as well? I've finished my back panel really enjoying this make. Much quicker than knitting and beautiful pattern. Thank you! Xx
Simply brilliant, thanks for sharing. You make it look so easy. I think I may try this one. How many balls of yarn was used? Look forward to seeing more. Great job.?
My arms are fatter from shoulder to elbow, so I made it a little bigger than you showed, but it will be too big below the elbow if I keep it at that width. How and when would I decrease stitches so it will fit better?
I really didn’t make any decreases so I may not know exactly when you need to decrease. You can try decrease every 5th row till you are okay with how it fits.
Hello Agnes how can I adjust this to a five year old? The cardigan is beautiful and I love your videos they are so easy to follow and outcome is always cuteeee.
OMG this is soo lovely😍. Thanks for always sharing. You made me get into crocheting and I absolutely love recreating your designs. My customers love them too . You got talent girl ❤️❤️❤️. I’m definitely gonna make this. Looking forward to the next tutorial, can’t wait 🙈
Hi, I have followed this pattern but with a smaller hook, I have reached the 2nd sleeve and it is measuring larger than the other, can you remember how many chains you did for 12inch?
I LOVE this cardigan and I am making one right now… but I am confused about how many stitches for each of the front panels? 😮, I am making the size small, help , thank you
Your back panel measurements in inches subtract 5 inches. divide the ans by 2. That should be the length of your front panel foundation chain. E.G if your back panel is 18 inches -5 inches = 13 inches. 13 divide by 2 is 6.5 inches. So take your measurements, the rest is explained in the tutorial
That is a beautiful cardigan! I would love to crochet this as my first crocheted garment, but I work best from a written pattern. Do you have any plan to make this a written pattern? I would gladly pay for the pattern.
