The lunch ladies served this at school when I was a kid. I’m making this for dinner tonight!

I haven’t seen it had since high school. I graduated 2012. I miss it so much. I loved it so much. It filled me up and had a warm belly. It was Turkey though but I love it.

We always mix sour cream in to thicken the gravy a bit, and it's fantastic. We typically add a few heaping tablespoons in after the chicken is removed to be shredded but you can also shred the chicken directly in the crock pot with two forks and then add in the sour cream and mix until it's to your liking.

Put it on biscuits, yummy

Wow that looks good I'm definitely going to try it instead of using toast I'm going to use some jiffy cornbread with it and mashed potatoes thank you for the video.

If the store doesn’t have the chicken gravy pack could I substitute with the one that comes in a jar or what do you recommend

i’m actually doing this right now. i set it as slow cook 6 hours on my instant pot. did yours take longer then 6 to cook? i also chopped down the chicken a bit too!

can i cook it faster then 6-8 hours

Hi, wiw that looked easy😲, im gonna try, didn't know could put chicken raw🤷, appreciate it tyvm. I have many packages chicken leg quarters because was $.89 lb🫤, can i add those on bone? Want to do jerk, chipotle, even asian but shredded, can i do similar and just pull bones out when done? Or can i make this too with quaters? I know its darker meat. I drove to 4 stores, got max, and filled rain checks, literally have 60+lbs🥹, sry questions, tyvm
