I’ve searched so many tutorials on this because I’m doing a lot of diy for a party I’m throwing for both of my daughters next year. This one has been the most helpful. Thank you!
Foam boards are lightweight and great for small backdrops or temporary setups, but they're not super durable, can easily crease or dent, and might not do well in outdoor conditions. On the other hand, foam insulation boards are more durable, sturdy, and better in different weather conditions, making them a better pick for long-lasting or outdoor backdrops. You can use either, so choose the one that fits your vibe and durability needs. ❤✨
Did your foam break part when you cut it? The foam sheet I bought broke off into a million little styrofoam balls and it’s not smooth. How would you say this foam preformed?
I made this in October, so I do not remember the total price. I think the boards were $12-$14 each, and I bought 2 of them. My hubby purchased the feet, and I think they were $12 each. There were 6 of them. You can probably find something cheaper. I will include the link to my blog post to see the full description of everything that I used. Thanks for watching, Danielle. deanncreates.com/?p=3836 💜🎈
I haven't had to reuse it yet. We haven't had a lot of parties with everything that's going on. If you were going to reuse the background, I would probably try to use craft paint (maybe Waverly's) because the house paint is so thick to paint over! Thanks so much for watching! 💛
