*Steps:*
1. **Measure your laptop**:
Measure the width, height, and depth of your laptop.
Add 1 inch to the width and height to allow for seams and ease.
2. **Cut the plastic canvas**:
You’ll need two pieces for the front and back.
For a snug fit, cut two pieces to the dimensions of your laptop plus the added inch.
Cut additional pieces for the sides and bottom, adding about 1 inch to the width and height for seams.
3. *Prepare the Yarn and Needle*
Choose a yarn color that complements your design.
Thread your tapestry needle with a length of yarn (about 18-24 inches).
4. *Stitch the Edges*
1. **Attach the sides and bottom**:
Use the whip stitch to join the sides and bottom to the front piece.
Secure each stitch tightly to ensure durability.
When stitching, leave the top edge open for inserting your laptop.
2. **Attach the back piece**:
Align the back piece with the edges of the sides and bottom.
Whip stitch around the edges, leaving the top open.
5. *Create a Closure*
1. **Choose your closure**:
You can use Velcro, buttons, or snaps for the closure.
2. **Attach the closure**:
Sew/glue one part of the Velcro or attach the buttons to the front side of the sleeve, near the open edge.
Attach the corresponding part to the back side so that when folded over, they align and close securely.
