By no means do I mean this in a rude way, but as a car detailer, I would love to clean your car so much 😂 Cleaning stained tan interior is so satisfying to see the transformation
Good ideas, but one suggestion for the cubes in the trunk. Try putting the Velcro strips on the bottom and they won’t slide everywhere while you are driving🙂
Dang I just can't resist. Sweetheart why don't you not give snacks or toys with many pieces to the children in the car and make them pick up after themselves. Darn that condescending remarking just made me know why I always wanted to give a box of tacks to people like that. I come from a line of women that were sarcastic in their joking. My great grandmother was asked you have so many boys how would you solve this problem. Something about fighting or grass stains. She said I don't know you really need to ask someone that doesn't have children. They always know how to do it just right. Don't forget to write all they tell you about raising children down. You will not want to forget all the good advice. She spoke to the young mother privately get them to church, love them, teach them respect and those messy spots will be just memories of joy. Do make sure you write all the suggestions down though and when she is taking care of some on a daily bases and it has been the hardest day take her some cherry wine and have a good laugh with her. I am a grandma now. Still have my granddaughters car seat in my car. 1 grandchild 4 cars eats. Hmmm why do you think that can be? The mess in my car is my own. That is a crying shame, because it is more cluttered then when I had children. When I did wash and clean my car out I left the ice cream hand print on my window. It has been there since April. Ok April of 2019 not 2020. I love seeing it though and I don't get those sticky little hand prints everyday like some of you. She was an artist with it though. Just genius not everyone can make a perfect hand print just from ice cream on their hands. Well didn't mean to have this so long. Just basically wanted to give a little smile and say on the bad days take a deep breath and smile (smile even if you are crying. It helps) you will miss the chaos. That's what borrowing gbabies are for even if you have to ask to borrow someone else's. Enjoy life. Oh yeah if by chance Debbie C the one whose mama received a box of tacks. I will admit it yes. Yes I did give your mama them without the lid on purpose. She understood it though when she finally got the lid. Hmmm I need to make a few more of those when you need a little more tacked boxes. Need to look up if I am spelling the word correct. Anyways whoever has read this far enjoy life it goes fast. With a lot of trippy turns. 2020 has been a year Heart by pass didn't get me, covid came for me, but I got through. Now on Tuesday we see what the next step is of the big C. Or did the test come out in my favor. Remember before being a true critic that person is probably their own worst critic and could have better results from a lifting remark.
I was the same until I started using the Car Backpack. It goes to the car with us every time and bc it’s a black pack, anyone can bring it, free hands or not. I have bags in the back pack for any trash the kids accumulate. When we get home, anything the kids or I can’t carry in our arms (bc we have too much crap) it goes into the backpack, then on my back or whosevers back and I’m free to carry the toddler or the 10 other things I usually have with me lol. Bring the bag inside and sort through it immediately 😊
ikno right i was lile she didnt hide nothing lol lile me.... come to my channel very realistic too i cant with my life or myself lol thanks in advance would love to have you
When my kids were little, each time we pulled up under the garage, I would tell them to collect the trash and anything that needed to go into the house. We keep a garbage can under the garage and so the car got cleaned out constantly. Just an idea!
I keep a small rectangular waste basket behind the console in the back seat. It's just me so it works great but would take up a space if you needed to sit 3 ppl back there. I try to empty trash at every fill-up.
I remember that everytime my mom stopped for gas she'd tell us kids to hop out and toss all the trash. Kept the car less cluttered and gave us something to do while she was getting the gas.
I have never been one to have trash or clutter in my car. The rolling around of stuff is distracting for me. My daughter knows the drill...trash/items come out every time we pull in the garage and every time I stop for gas! Keeps the clutter away. She also loves to help me wipe down everything and vacuum. ☺️
Yesss! I want something that KEEPS my car clean, i suggested a small basket to my husband because sometimes I can’t bring everything with me and put everything in there before coming into the house. I’m the biggest culprit
You really have some amazing ideas I can’t wait to try the emergency glove box kit. Thank you. I have a quick tip $3.00 tip to clean your car mats or carpet.... dollar tree has a product called “soil love” it’s an amazing stain remover it gets out cooking grease, oil, pen, blood almost everything thing. I put some in a small squirt bottle spray all over and scrub brush it out and blot dry or After scrubbing the mats I have even took the mats to the self serve car wash and high pressure sprayed them too! Just beware they will be soaked so bring a trash bag or something to catch the excess water in. They will look awesome!
Thank you! I’m in the process of getting all of my top teeth yanked/replaced with a denture and after my last surgery where they took 6 at one time, I got blood all over my bedroom carpet in the house we bought a month ago. You’re a freaking life saver!
This was great! I really loved the ‘Mommy Emergency kit with the Tylenol, hair ties and tampons and also the idea of the container for as a trash bin. Thanks!!!
Genius!! I have one of those snack containers from dollar tree but haven’t used it yet, felt like it was a waste, but now I know what to do with it! Thank you and thanks for showing what a real humans car looks like lol
These are great ideas.I keep backup stuff for our Daughter too.Love the pen holder idea and paint brushes for the vents. Your Daughter is cute. She's busy cleaning away. Great idea for trash. Thanks!
I love the organization tips! however keeping water bottles in your car where it can get really hot has really negative health effects. Also, heat could affect the tylenol and melt the lipbalm in your emergency kit
This was super helpful! It’s an honest look at a busy mom’s car with some great, cheap, organizational ideas. Also it’s relatively short and to the point. Love it! Thank you for creating!👍🏼🙌🏼❤️
I love these! One thing though, Tylenol in the glove box isn’t a great idea. Most medications need to be stored somewhere cool/warm temperature and fairly dry. If it gets very hot or cold where you live (basically everywhere), it can seriously decrease potency and effectiveness. My suggestion is to just keep it in your purse or take it with you when you need it. Not as convenient, but much better for your health. (I take a lot of meds, and for example, I keep mine in a cabinet in my kitchen out of range of any sources of excess moisture or heat.)
Girl! You get Big ups for your real-life share and for getting the little one involved with the clean-up!! lol! Although my car doesn't get this bad anymore, I remember when it did with my 4 kids. My children are adults and I have a 17 y/o left to drive around so it's much better. I want to encourage you to keep getting them involved, enjoy the things they do or forget to do, so you all have things to laugh about and share with their kids when they are all grown up. Your time will come, let this their time. #CreateMemories
Great ideas! REMEMBER...as far as KEEPING MAKE-UP & certain snacks (lip balm, chocolate, hard candy, etc) INSIDE YOUR CAR will MELT DURING the SUMMER MONTHS...also, check the Tylenol package & smoothie mix if they need to be store away from heat
Looks great! I used those cereal containers for garbage in my car too when my children were little. Thanks for the tips - I like the diy Mom emergency kit you made.
Thank you for the motivation. I used the pink container for fruit and dried snacks but never thought of using it for extra things for the car... I now keep a gallon of tap water and a small bottle of hand soap for when hand sanitizer and wipes are just not enough, especially when we go to the park or outdoors and then eat
Thank you. I feel more comfortable with you showing us your car. My car looks like this before you helped me organized it. I’m going to dollar tree soon.
The irony. I JUST finished cleaning out my car😴 I had two of my purses,my lunch bag,2 kids backpacks,5 pairs of my youngest's shoes,my passenger floor was covered in school papers(coloring sheets),All of my cup holders were full. We had to eat on the road and my trunk in my suv WAS OVER FLOWED COMPLETELY 🤢 I wish I would have seen this before lol. Loved it! THE SNACK CONTAINER IS GONNA BE A GAME CHANGER!
Really smart hacks! Those snap lids are a game changer! I have a mini makeup bag that takes up a lot of space in the console, so container I can fill to the brim and drop in the glove box.
Good video, loved watching it. The container pink that holds a bunch of items is absolutely genius ! I wish I could find one similar in France ! I organized my car very well and I am always happy to be able to use practical items whenever I need. I became good at maintaining my car super clean and fresh. It is a game changer, so much pleasant to get into a nit and clean place.
I like to keep some fast food supplies like salt and pepper packets, straws, napkins, plastic cutlery packs for those days when they forget to put that stuff in the bag. I like a few tools in the car too. A multipurpose to cut seatbelt strap and knock window out. A multipurpose knife, a flashlight. And my all time favorite is individually packaged antibacterial wipes. I always keep a stock in the car and put some in my purse. During COVID they were impossible to find and now they are back. There are some things to think about for emergencies. I learned that if you live in a cold winter area up north, you should keep emergency supplies in case you get stuck in the snow or ice somewhere. Blankets, pillow, snacks, water (water bottles can freeze and break open so you probably need to drain some water out of bottles you leave in the car during the winter), a book, toilet paper and pee bottle, etc. I keep a car folder. You can buy them on Amazon or other places, they are a canvas zippered folder where I keep my registration, insurance card, emergency telephone numbers, vehicle info and warranties.
Oh gosh. Your before footage of your car looks like my car! 😆 I'm watching this video at 12:30am and now I just want to go clean my car. 😂 Thanks for sharing these ideas!
Not dismissing this, but there’s highkey already plastic in water. I have a work study in the Chem department at school and the one professor was doing an experiment with water treatment plants/micro plastics/filtered water and it was insane
love the video! the only thing I wouldn't recommend is leaving water in your car. During the summer if it gets too hot your water bottle can release a toxin that can harm you if you drink it. Great tips!
This video just popped up & I really enjoyed it! Very realistic, I loved how you showed us your car before because let's be honest, thats most of us lol. Especially if you have little ones 🙂. New subscriber 👍💯🤗
I absolutely love this video because you are so real. I love real life cleaning not something that already looks clean before the video starts. This video was so motivating.
Love this! I have dollar tree stuff to organize my papers & stuff on my car but I love what you came up with with those cube boxes! I keep my 3 year olds jiu jitsu and tball stuff in a bag in the back of my car but I think I’m going to try this!!
Having 5 children at home (and in the car😩), this is just what I needed! Where's the "heart" button when you need it?! Thank you so much for sharing!! 💕
Just a suggestion but try to get glass water bottles, leaving plastic water bottles in a hot vehicle can release toxins from the plastic into the water. Besides that great video!
I love all the tips you gave but it would be extremely helpful if you tagged the things you have in this video such as the cordless vacuum you used, the phone holder/charger off amazon...
I have 2 small kids. Thank you. You remind us that we all let things get carried away as tired parents. I know when I finally get the time to clean. Oh it feels so good!
The hook for your purse ❤️ toothbrush holder and snack container, Yay. I'm also going to see about the cereal keeper for trashcan. So many great ideas.
Great ideas! I am always on the road. I have a little travel bag with a change of clothes for me. I also have hand cream, hand sanitizer, finger nail clippers, a small pocket knife, scissors, and that sort of thing. Then I keep a plastic zippered pouch that I have coupons for restaurants and a place to put receipts, lottery tickets, etc The final must have is a second wallet in my glove box. I keep $100 cash in case I forget my wallet or the Internet goes down and the gas station or stores only accept cash. This has happened a few times. And then small bills and coins to get out of the hospital parking lot if needed and for those stores that need a coin to get a cart.
Thank you for been so transparent and show us how the car is... I thought I was the only one I have 5 kids (teens/toddlers) and my car is always a mess will definitely try this awesome ideas . 🥰
Glad to see your child helping you ,everyone needs to help get things up. Mommy cannot do it all! Good habit training starts young when they still think it is fun.
Great video. Thanks for keeping it real. The purse hook is called a Carabiner. I use two. One for my purse and the other to hang my umbrella on. I don’t leave anything wax based or chocolate in my car during the summer as it will melt. Keep the chapstick in your purse. I suggest a travel size sewing kit in the glove box as well as a small flashlight or if you have room, in your purse. You might also want to put the water bottles in a ziplock bag as the plastic deteriorates over time and in the heat. To keep the cargo or trunk floor clean I use an under the sink mat. Thank you for sharing your daughter helping. Made me smile. She’s adorable.
