Thank you for showing us how to approach the drawing of birds in different positions. Very helpful. I am so eager to get your new book. I asked my local library to order it too, for the community (population 1250) USA.
Such a good idea! Maybe I should ask if my library can do the same. They have a (in my opinion) very limited amount of books on watercolour and drawing.
Love your style!! I have a question though. I pooled the water on a petal and loaded the brush. I tapped it on the water and it didn’t hardly run at all. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! (I bought your books 😊)
Great question. There can be several reasons for that. The brands work differently. I use Daniel Smith colors and they flow very nicely. Other brands need a bit more water and rubbing with the brush before activating. Some paint also have minerals and activate very poorly. But try experiementing with more water and gently rubbing the paint with brush to activate it ❤️
