I recently converted a utility trailer into a chicken tractor. The gate serves as the door and ramp to the coop. This idea, paired with a timer will save me from having to go out day and night to open and close their door! Thanks for making this video.
Could use the 7 pin harness to charge the battery. Or mount a vevor 36" tool box on the wheel we'll and place a small solar panel. I'm about to do something similar. Building the ramp out about 12-16" to hold pressure washing surface cleaners and a sign. The gate will only have to drop down 90° but there's going to be double the weight.
Oddly the battery will run the whole season on one charge. So I don't have a reason to connect a charging system. I use it once every two weeks though. Only 6 cycles per use.
Thanks for sharing have you ever seen anyone use PEX plumbing lines and fittings to assemble their pressure wash soft washing build? Seems like it would work well love how that stuff crimps
