I had to post - I started watching your videos during the pandemic and my hair had gotten really thin, dried and just awful during the last 10 years. I thought it was perhaps because I was getting older and I was going through menopause. I started following your tips and now my hair is fuller, thicker and super healthy. I’ve been following you for years. I always love your content because it’s truly useful. This video really helped me with trimming my shoulder-length hair. I was sweating during the process but now I’m so glad I did it. My hair looks smoother and all around better! I have also watched another one of your videos that showed you doing baby lights to your hair. I followed that when I was growing out my bleach blonde hair and I had some noticeable lines in my hair. My hair came out amazing back then too. It was exactly what I needed and after growing out, my hair had a really nice balayage effect to it. I’m about to do a touch up so I need to go search through your videos for more instructions. I know you say that your videos aren’t meant to replace a stylist. My daughter has REALLY long hair, and it's all one length and we were talking just this morning about her getting face framing layers, she's wondering if she should get some long layers in the back, but she doesn't want it to look really thin on the bottom.

Is her hair naturally fine? Or thicker? I have very fine hair and I’ve been trying to grow out my layers for a while now. I want my hair to be all one length so it will look fuller at the bottom. But if your daughter has thick hair, it shouldn’t be a problem for her.

If she doesn't want to have thinner ends I would recommend only the face framing layers. All over layers are always best for thick or full hair.
