I tried this and made a lovely little hat for my daughter. The instructions were so simple and easy to follow. You gave plenty of details for each age group which I've struggled to find such a helpful tutorial on RU-vid. However I definitely need a lot more practice with crocheting especially towards the start of the hat as the folded part of the hat ended up being a little wonky 😅

Even as an experienced crocheter, there's al ways a new skill to learn or a way to improve a current one. I love the techniques you use to sew up the sides and close the top of the beanie completely. They are so much better then the ones I currently use. Thanks for sharing.

Hello, please I use a 2.00mm hook for a 1 to 2 year old hat..so I made 45 chains and 68 rows but when I joined it it is so small..What changes with a smallest hook, how many rows should I have before joining ? Thanks
