Easy fix! DEWALT RADIO REPAIR (DC012) 

Does your worksite dewalt radio not work? Well the issue could be with a capacitor that is on the turner board.
Steps to fix.
1. Remove the outer handle
2. Remove the front screws around the faceplate
3. Remove two screws on the back near the antenna
4. Test the tuner board ie the Regulator see if there is short between pin 1 and 2
5. Remove both capacitors on the regulator if the short disappears replace caps.
6. If short remains replace 5V regulator.
