That was an easy fix. The switch was $11 on amazon. Sure beats the heck out of replacing the actuator. Wish I knew about this last time. Thanks to you and for youtube saving the day once again. Now if someone can just figure out on how to keep the pump seals from leaking every few years.
The switches did not work on my valve. I think it’s bad so do you have a video of how to install a brand new pentair spa valve. I would love to see it.
I had a hard time removing the micro switch. It appears they are now manufactured to not come off. There is a small bump that stops it from being removed. Pool equipment was installed in 2019. Unless I’m not being forceful enough. It just seems like the wire will rip off if I’m more forceful. To be clear this is for my Penrtair Spa return valve.
I have replaced 3 of these valves because the gear teeth wear out or the valve allows water to collect in the bottom and rust. Im over the expense name brands to get lousy service life. I am going to give the cheap knock off brand a try.
