@@XeLRU-vid The journey can be long and at sometimes difficult but aslong as we get there it was all worth it in the end ✊🏾💯 Thank you for the hit back it means a lot 🙂
This is what I’m trying to avoid. I’ve never used BandLab on the computet always on the phone because of this problem. My mic broke the other day and I went out and replaced it with the same mic and I’m having latency. Problem for me is that I have an iPhone no way to fix latency so ima try using this method on the computer when I get home!! Fingers crossed!! I’ve been having to much anxiety
the lag is still there on the bandlab. In my focusrite device setting buffer is 192. I can hear my voice without latency in the headphone normally but in the bandlab software when i click monitoring there is a lag no matter what i set buffer rate. Even the latency test is not working. How to fix?
Ugh....yeah, i think when Bandlab updated they changed the setting so now, even though my equipment has not changed, i too am getting lag. The only suggestion i can make is to keep experimenting with the buffer and bit rate settings inside of the focusrite. Either that, or try out Soundtrap. I have NEVER experienced lag in that
I don't know what is happening, I'm using bandlab midi instruments from the web. When I want to record a drum (for example) sounds is delayed after I press a key. I'm a drummer and this pisses me off SO much. I'm guessing it has to do with this computer motherboard (processor) otherwise I don't know what it might be... Have you got any idea?
My ultimate guess would be as you said, either ur processor or RAM is not enough to handle BandLab. It’s kinda odd cause even tho BandLab is like a cheap version of GarageBand, it somehow uses lots of processing power and RAM in order to run. Probably because Chrome can only handle so much
maybe this is offtopic, in the past u used adobe audition 2.0 to record podcast and live streaming audio and for some reason years after - im not longer using adobe audition- im using sony vegas and other audio software and there is no way to hear my voice real time, the computer settings i have found online they dont work for me, there is always a 0.2sec lag and its very annoying, specially when you are trying to sing something in karaoke, or mixing your voice with some songs. Any ideas?
hey, i was wondering if you knew why when i try the latency test it’s always over 140ms. i’m in a quiet space with a good usb mic and usb speakers. i think it’s the whole reason why i’m getting delay bc i have edited my buffer size :/
After I brought an new phone... I can't use bandlap flstudio..etc.. my voice is getting delay while recording.. so I can't sing and its quality is worse ... I don't know what to do please help me
Ok so I put bandlab on my Chromebook, I did the latency test but my voice is still off. I saw this video but I can't find seem to be able to find my buffer setting. When I put up my audio interface I only have the option to increase or decrease volume. Can anyone help me out? Please
Hey? I have issue with Bandlab in my phone. Whenever I start to play the looper it lags and plays a out of tune musics which I'm frustrated about. Can you please help? I have also checked the latency it says it's descent. What do I do?
Any chance you know how to fix this on a Chromebook? Nothing but crackling and static and latency for the last 3 months, I’ve bought 3 new mics, a new laptop, a Phantom Power Supply, and I even talked to BandLab through email and nothing has been fixed. Still static, still horrible latency.
Bandlab is pretty heavy when it comes to RAM. Since Chromebooks have the bare minimum needed to run Chrome smoothly, you may still have the lag issue. My suggestion would be to try out other programs like Soundtrap or Audio Tool. I’ve never run into any lag with Soundtrap
Chromebooks are the most challenging ones that ppl are having a hard time with because Google blocks a lot of what you are able to do with devices like Midi controller. If what I did in the video doesn’t work, try doing it on another device and see. If that doesn’t work, try downloading the drivers for your midi controller directly from the manufacturer’s website
@@littleman7317 naw, don’t do that. I mean, it won’t do anything for u or ur computer, but all ur doing is downloading the drivers to be able to use the device. If u don’t have a Scarlett interface then it won’t change anything
@@littleman7317 not a big deal. I’d just make sure that you’ve got the yeti drivers downloaded, which u probably already have if you’ve been able to use it before
R u using a Chromebook? Because Google has some of the sound cars setting blocked on certain chroma books. Also, you have to be using a Focusrite device in order to have this setting. I use a focusrite Scarlett interface
Hey so how do I fix my at2020usb? Every time I record a verse and listen to it it's all off beat. I tried doing the latency test and it's either to much noise or it don't detect nothing and when it does I can only get as low as 98. Please guide me through the right way to fix it.
not sure why but on my band lab on my MacBook there is an absolutely unplayable distortion like noise that happens when I record and play anything back :(
It was doing that on my laptop, I had to make my interface the input and output and then it stopped. Pretty sure it was the mic on my laptop as the input, picking up wayyy too much sound
Great video bro, i already tried to reduce the buffer size however every time that i run the latency test on the bandlab settings i´m getting 400 ms of latency, i don´t know where else i can check, i need some help, thank you.
Dang mine is between 122-125. Idk what that means but it says slow. Also what's cakewalk, is it another platform because I'm almost over bandlab and this issue.
Depends on what computer u are running it off of but most internal audio drivers allow you to make the changes I explained in the video. Chromebooks, however, do noy
to my knowledge Chromebooks have a locked/dedicated audio driver that does not allow u to change it. I think that is largely because chromebooks were never designed with this kind of flexibility in mind. They were mostly intended for browsing
Do I need an audio interface? I'm running bandlab on a vivobook using a steinberg interface, I can't seem to find any settings for anything. I've recorded a drum track today, added bass and the bass is like a second out. No idea how to fix it. Cheers mate 👍
Technicially, no, so can get stuff done WITHOUT an interface, but I would argue that using an interface is better because your computer's built-in audio drivers aren't designed to handle or work with high quality audio files. That being said, a Steinberg driver should be good enough for what you are trying to do.
@@Mr_Cru2 thanks for the reply, it dawned on me as I was messing around earlier, I haven't put the driver on my laptop yet. I'll start there 🤣🤣 Thanks again
