Yes, I would love to see more of your glue book. This looks very relaxing and I like the idea of using up my junk mail envelopes. Thank you for the inspiration! Hello from Nova Scotia!
I like the process of sticking things randomly in a journal and sometimes adding a thought or interesting idea in it. They are great reference journals where you can do product reviews. Uses are endless.
I’ve wanted to make a glue book and your version seems very beginner friendly! I have a stash of envelopes and lots of magazines and scraps of paper, so I have no excuses not to make one.
Thanks liz, I've always been very curious about glue books and this make with junk envelopes is a easy way to get started. Thanks for sharing. Have a fabulous weekend. Sending big hugs Sherry ❤ ❤❤
This is a great idea. I have seen glue books made from magazines but not envelopes. I love the collage pages you created. I keep a lot of envelopes and use some but this is a way to use several at once. Great way to use up paper scraps too! Now I just need more crafting time! I really like to watch videos on making journals and booklets that are quick and simple.
This video is a few months old, but I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed watching this. I have cut out and saved so many images that I like, and wasn't sure how to use them in junk journals. This is helpful, and I think I will use some along with actual journaling! It helps seeing you use things that aren't all matching or the same colors or themes.
Good morning Liz, love this style, I made one with you from the other video. So fun, love your collaged pages. I have used the sticker sheets as well (after watching you) they are so great to use like you said especially for die cutting shapes. So relaxing to watch you create. Love your chat. Thanks so much for sharing my friend, have a lovely weekend. Great idea for a swap! I’m in haha. 🙏🤗🌻
Good morning Brenda, thank you so much! These are so fun to make. I always look forward to starting a new one. Thanks for watching my friend, take care. Hugs. :-)
Hi Liz, this is a fabulous envelope glue book tutorial!, thanks so much. I have watched other tutorials & must admit I get a bit irritated with some, but your one is really excellent & I'm going to make this one. Just need to get some envelopes together.
Great ideas! Tips; vintage and bright colors can go together, also pastel colors can work. Instead of using staples, you can use rubber bands, adhesive tape, washitape or brown packing tape (this one is very strong)!😊😊
This is very beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I finally freed myself from perfection by starting a glue book or art journal with a composition book. I free myself to do whatever I want in them and LOVE looking back on them. Sometimes I journal, sometimes it's just images I love. I'm going to try this junk mail booklet. I'd love to be included in a swap if it's something small. Postage has gotten so expensive I need to be careful with swaps I join. Thank you. I came over here from Instagram.
