It is not the Seed that makes the fruit star quality it is that you have a quality benefit on the plant, although a star quality seed helps in the growth of the plant. I spent a lot of time gardening an eventually I was able to reap 2-3K or more from my harvest after maxing seeds saved, composted or picked. By doing this I also raised my gardening to level 11 so far. I made a planting lay out that gives me all star quality produce which you need for making start quality seeds and they sell for a higher price. the picked peppers give the highest focus at 142. per pepper. I have learned other tricks along the way even though I am a slow player. My garden layout is 1 apple tree in center of a 9X9 garden with 3 Blueberries and 1 spicey Pepper planted on the 4 corners diagonally to the apple tree. I place 3 of each benefit around the apple tree and 2 of each benefit around the Blueberry and spicey pepper plants, adjusting for efficient placements. Then I fill in the rest best I can. Some areas lack hydration so you get some weeds and need to water a lot but the yield is great. Hint: harvest 1 type of crop at a time and then replant them, water after your final harvest and planting is done. I HOPE this helps.

I like to save my apples, make seeds and sell the seeds I usually save a bunch of apples, fill the seed maker then go to bed or go about my day and each pack of seeds goes for about 1,000$

Usually get 16 apples. At least one crop off an apple tree will be 24 instead of 16. Speedy Boost doesn't seem to work, and the explanation makes no sense lol. Not to me, anyway. In fact, the only fertilizer I'm sure works is the quality boost. The others...maybe sometimes? I haven't been scientific enough to track them all, just that one rice plant gives 2 rice. No matter what fertilizer I put on them, is all I've noted. Star quality x rice x 2. That's it.

You got the tomatoes and potatoes backwords turn the tomatoes into seeds to sell and pickle the potatoes, those pickled potatoes make alooooot of gold
