Is there any reason - other than it's easier - to apply the paint directly to the canvas? I am new to painting but all your videos are great and easy to follow. Greetings from Serbia (not Siberia)! 🙃

No particular reason, just simplicity. You can save one movement on simple pictures like this by pressing the paint directly onto the canvas and starting painting. If the picture is more complex, it is not recommended to press the paint onto the canvas, but to mix it on a palette, for example, and apply it with a brush. But for simple paintings like this, you can apply the paint directly to the canvas. Glad you like my videos! Have a nice day! Greetings from Hungary! :)

Dear neighbour! :D You are welcome! I also have a Patreon page with 3 different levels of painting videos, if you want to check it out. Acrylic I has all the videos that are posted here on RU-vid, just without editing and speeding up. The other two levels are/will be more complex videos, there I sometimes have to edit them a bit, but the point of it all is that if someone wants to know all the movements and improve their painting skills, I welcome them!
