I find flower arranging to be hard and frustrating sometimes so I wanted to make a video showing easy tips to make it fun. This flower arrangement was inspired my my sisters wedding bouquet that she had at her wedding in Paris.

Hydrangea stems without the flowers, just the greenery makes for a wonderful filler. It holds flowers exactly where you want them and makes every arrangement look very lush.

Oh I love it!! It's so true that less color is more!! Looks way more expensive and soft than those crazy ones. But again, some crazy ones they are hard to arrange and they are the real deal.

Bonus tip: make sure you remove any of the leaves that are going to float in the water, they'll rot fast and actually make your flowers die faster

Remove the red/orange stamens off the lilies and they will last twice as long Do this on amaryllis as well as any lily.( Easter etc) They will STAIN your fingers so be careful when pulling off but they just slide right off!!!

OMG! Thanks for the brief yet informative tutorial. I tried to order flowers for Mother's Day 2020 (during COVID-19 Pandemic) well in advance, but since everyone has more time on their hands, not one florist was able to deliver on Mother's Day. So I went to the grocery store (supermarket), purchased some lovely flowers at a ridiculous price, and made my own pretty arrangement thanks to Theodore Leaf! It was quick and fun.

Add 1 part citric acid to 4-5 parts sugar and mix it into the water so your flowers last longer! If you don't have citric acid, then at least use the sugar. Lovely bouquet.

Well, this is definitely one of those times when I'm thinking, why didn't I think of that? :o) Treating it like a bouquet and then cutting the stems is a GREAT idea. I definitely need a vase with a narrower mouth. Your table setting is BEAUTIFUL!
