You are such a great instructor. So soothing to listen to so it makes you less stressed about doing a new stitch. Even though it’s an easy stitch you want to do it correctly. Thank you! 🌻
I absolutely 💯 loved the way you explained this 😍 I have watched numerous videos and yours was the best!!!!! You explained every step so in detailed and your voice was very pleasing!!!! Thank you so very much 😍 Please keep continuing on with your videos ..... You are the best !!!!!
I love your videos! I’ve learned so much. The C2C was difficult for me to comprehend. But I’ve made an Afghan from watching your previous videos. And the pinch I do automatically now!😂
I recently completed a crib size blanket with HDC C2C. Bernat Blanket and a 6 mm hook (ouch!) to ensure snug stitches for baby. 2 colours (about 1.5 skeins of each), 6 rows of each alternating. The end result was beautiful! Then I made an octopus with the remaining yarn. Super adorable.
I almost gave up on c2c until I found this video. I wasn't happy with the holes in gthe double crochet c2c. This is just what I wanted. You are an awesome teacher. Thank you so much!
Great instruction. I have been trying to get my project started for several months. The instructions did not make sense at all for a half double crochet corner to corner. I finally found yours, and found several crucial errors in the instructions that the other person had written. First of all, it started with chain four instead of five. Because of that the pattern starts off at a negative. It also said to half double crochet in the chains instead of in the chain space. And thirdly, the way you explain to bring the sides together on the boxes completely makes the pattern understandable! So I wrote down your instructions as you were going through. Compared them to the others and found the mistakes. Then in the body of the pattern The squares were referred to as stitches; actually row one has one square, row two has two squares, row three has three squares, and so on. With my own notes I have been able to get going, and oh my, how easy this pattern is! Now if I can just get the color changes down… L O L!
@@TheCrochetCrowd I did it but silly me I’m left handed so went to other instructions and have made three but will need practice to make uniform mini squares...❤️ thank you!
Mikey, thank you! Your explanation for the c2c half double crochet is so easy to follow. Do you have a video with c2c half double crochet with a color change?
Could you please tell me how to add rows to a finished c2c to make if bigger. I had 8 small skins of yarn so I didn't know how big it would be, so I increased 3 skins then decreased 3 so I would like it bigger instead of a border
How do I go about making a diagram/ graph for any picture of my choice? Should there be just two or maximum three colours used? I tried with a cross stitch pattern but it did not work out.
You can contact Herrshners for assistance, I believe. They can contact the designer to help walk you through your obstacles. I cannot told it as behind the scenes, the patterns are protected by copyright and where I can step in. Just contact Herrshners and go from there. Yarnspirations provides customer support for patterns as long as it's their patterns, so I assume Herrshners will do the same.
@@champof64 I chain first and then turn my work as well..I think it is much easier to see that first stitch that way..I can never tell what stitch he is starting with on video. The first or second or the same for that matter.
