This is why you always make sure one of your pawns survive. Bishop pair or bishop/knight checkmate is rare but when it happens you going to wish you've learn this technique.
I have literally never been in a 2 bishop game without trying. Sometimes I under promote to a bishop when I have one but have never been in one without doing that.
This is what ruins the beauty of chess for me, in a situation like this, I find the beauty in randomly placing pieces until either a stalemate or a surprise checkmate comes up. THAT, is chess.
When I'm completely winning, I sacrifice all my pieces and only leave a rook so I can watch them walk down to their demise. Now I'll try this one out to be even more troll
I actually once had 2 bishops in endgame (and a few pawns that were just facing enemy pawns) and i did the last part of this where you dorce the king into the corner (which works the same like with 2 rooks checkmating)
