One thing that is obvious here, Japanese are not afraid to discuss their age in public, and in fact it's not considered an intrusive question to ask one's age, like it may be in the West.
*CORRECTION In the introduction, Mona says 25% (1/4) of Japanese are older 60 years, but it turns out actually 25% of Japanese are older than 65 years old. Apologies for the misinformation.
She talks as if everyone watching this is 19 or something. Age 70, 80, 90 in Japan is nothing unusual at all. That's like normal. If you don't like to see a lot of elderly people, then don't come here. But that 90-year-old guy was kind of "old for his age". Looking around, diidn't know it was his own phone ringing LOL!
