I use Canson canvas paper. I didn't prime it but I take quite a good amount of paint and moist my brush when ever required. For canvas , canvas paper or canvas pad, you can prime to get a smooth base. Gesso 2 times. One coat first, let it dry and apply another coat. hope it will works for you.
A beautiful picture. The colors match very well and the picture is not overloaded. I like watching your videos, for me they are a good inspiration for own pictures ... Thanks for that ♥ ️
How come nobody mentioned that you skipped some parts? Like how you painted the other side of the sky 😑😑 it's like many tutorials are just to show how talented the artist is, not to actually teach how to do the painting. I don't know why you guys call it tutorial, it should have another name 🙄🙄
What a fantastic painting renjitha, its my favourite , the colours of the flowers are stunning and the sky and landscape are stunning, thanks for sharing your wonderful art. 😘😘😘😘👏👏👏👏🇬🇧😘😘😘😘

Plain paper is thin so it will bleed and buckle unless you use a dry brushing technique. I use a laminated piece of white legal paper (five actually) to practice. When I'm done, I spray each one with water or put them in the sink (in water) and clean as soon as I can. This works fairly well, especially with learning brush strokes (flowers, leaves). Sometimes I gotta scrub a little to get everything clean.
