This is great! In addition to my 6 stringers, I also have a 5 string. Any idea of which string would be the best to omit?

Have you ever tried Jerry Byrds C diatonic- FGABCE ? At least I think he is the guy who made that tuning... What are your thoughts? Do you find it easier/more efficient to have them arranged in thirds as you have them here?

I haven't tried that one out yet, but I'll give it a go. Looks like you'd need to do some math to work out the right string gauge for that, have you tried it? What gauges did you use to get good tension?

It's easy, just turn the knobs on the headstock ;) Joking aside though, the strings for diatonic tuning are all a third apart, so from low to high it's C E G B D F
