❤️Love this cozy!!! It knits up so quickly. If you do single strand, the figure 8 stitch looks lacy and so pretty. I’ve been doing half the size so it’s closer to the size of the cardboard cozies you get at the coffee shop. Just 3 rows of the first part and then 4 rows of the figure 8 stitch gives you a great little cozy that isn’t too bulky 🙂

I never knew that going to the right is considered to be used for lefties. I am a righty and I am self taught at loom knitting I have always went to the right because going clock wise seemed the most logical for me. Hehe the more you know

i am self taught, and i have soo much more to learn, which i am totally okay with. Anyway, I digress--- what weight and type (cotton, acrylic, blend, wool, etc).. I dont see that spelled out anywhere, and it could be that I am totally overlooking it, lol. Thank you so much, love your videos and you explain things very well!

@rickilieberman2136
@rickilieberman2136 5 лет назад
Why can’t you bind off like making a Beanie? Where you wrap the yarn around use your needle to lift off the peg and go around and take off loom?
@Gbody-ey8eh
@Gbody-ey8eh 5 лет назад
Ricki Lieberman you aren’t trying to seal it up tight like a hat, you need to get the coffee cup through it.
@TheDaligrrrl
@TheDaligrrrl 6 лет назад
Silly question: Do you have your skein unraveled already to enable you to double up on the yarn? I’m just trying to understand the logistics of how you did that haha
@GinaLay
@GinaLay 6 лет назад
TheDaligrrrl Great question!! What I do is use the strand on the outside of the skein and then reach inside the skein to pull out the other strand. You will be able to feel the yarn bunches up. Start gently pulling it out and you will see it. I hope that makes sense. 🙂
@leannamantooth5284
@leannamantooth5284 6 лет назад
You can use two skeins at once or use both ends of one skein to double up

SpiralingFate Hello. 🙂 You don’t have to use two strands to make the project. It might come out thinner.
