I prepared sambhar sadham many times. But always something went missing and it never came out the way I expected. And today I got confused what to cook for lunch and just searched on RU-vid. Randomly saw your videos and decided to give it a try. Tbh, this is what I expected every time when I cook sambhar sadham. I served it with yam fry, My husband just simply loved it. Simply amazing. Tried it today. Awesome receipe and perfect to my taste. But it may not be a good idea for lunch as it becomes relatively thick and hard I guess. It is best to have it hot.
@@sonascookery5397 you can even try your recipe with different daals Arhar dal tastes so good & as a Bengali we often make these recipes in moong daal it also tastes good. Although my personal favourite is with Masur daal.

Yes, I have tried it with similar proportions as described in the video except for adding chilli powder in the final seasoning. It's simply awesome. But, should be had immediately after preparing. Do not allow it to become cold (normal temperature) as it becomes little solid (better when it is semisolid) in consistency.
