Easy Melee Method with Claws for Blackgaol Knight Boss - ELDEN RING DLC 

Another good tactic against NPC enemies and bosses is to abuse their predictable AI - whenever they are sprinting at you they will almost always do a running attack. Using a heavier weapon like a greathammer allows you to poise break them in nearly all states except when they are in the middle of an attack that gives them a lot of hyperarmor (hyperarmor = temporarily increased poise). This means that you can mostly just wait until they start running at you and initiate your attack so that it hits them before they hit you - doing this should break their poise and allow you to continue attacking until they dodge. Just don't overcommit to agression because you can't trade blows with them when each attack deals 1/3 of your healthbar or more 😅.

The DLC is now down to Mixed reviews on steam. Peoples are complaining that mobs (not just boss, regular trash) are way overtuned. Basically that even with 60 vigor you get kill in 2 shots all the time. Boss with never ending ability spam giving you next to zero chance to hit them. I loved Elden Ring vanilla game up to the Fire Giants. This is the exact reason why I quit playing the game after that boss. All trash mobs suddendly can kill you in 2 hits. Not fun.

Is it possible to get that ash of war for other weapons?
