You just have me a great idea.... My granddaughter turns 18 next month.... If I make this with eight pages, I could use each side of page for a birthday documenting each birthday. 😁 You're album is so cute... Love it New here
I took and cut a piece of matching cardsock, cut it to 1 3/8" x 6.25" and glued it to the spine BEFORE adding the cover and the rolled spine cover. It made the spine less "floopy". Looks great! Be sure to allow the glue to dry completely before gently pressing out the pages so they can open completely.
I've made a few albums in the last months. They are so much fun to make and give as a gift to someone. I really like the design of this album. 😍 Love the size and the possibilities with it. I always have wanted to make one of these and this seems so do-able for me. I do make other items with chipboard and keep all mine from dsp etc and especially the paper pumpkin one! It is really heavy duty. Thanks for a great video!
Love this mini album! I have been hooked on making mini albums for a few years now. Whenever I get in a slump with card making, I make another album. Lol. So fun and relaxing! Happy New Year, and thanks for always sharing your creativity!

Still the best album video ever, Tina! Besides the three I made in the original size, have also made three for 8x8 papers. A bit of math (not my strong suit) but they came out great. Cannot thank you enough for your inspiring video!

I agree -- the basic album composition is what I really needed; now can decorate, stamp, etc. to match my style/theme for the project. HAPPY CRAFTING!!

I am the same way. I started with scrapbooking and then went to cardmaking. I discovered Rosa Kelly and started making albums. Now that is my real passion. I have seen this one, but i don't think I have made it, but I will. Thanks for sharing.
I love this album. I just finished my first one for my great niece who is pregnant with her first child, a daughter. Next up is one for my niece, the first-time granny and then one for my other great niece, the first-time aunt.
So gorgeous! And I know what to give our daughter's BFF who just had her 1st baby. All non-essential shops are closed because of Covid and our daughter lives in southern France, so she can't come over either. Well, it is possible, but then she'd have to quarantine for 2 weeks here and back in France. Besides, our son-in-law is a musician and has ZERO income, so she can't just take over 4 weeks off ... so THANK YOU dear Tina! I think I'll add tags in some of the pockets so the new parents know what the pockets are for. And I know they won't appreciate everything in English ...

Tina, Ive never made a mini album. Your title caught my eye about the 6x6 paper pads. I have boat loads of those. This album is big and functional, way to go. You have inspired me. Yay! Thank you soooo much
Oh my I can hear your enthusiasm and it makes me smile. I like seeing the StampinUp papers being used on more than cards. I dabble in albums, certainly have not mastered it, but have thoroughly enjoyed the process. I look forward to your upcoming videos

I'm getting ready to make one with blue gray textured cards stock I discovered in my stash. It is one of the colors in my Echo Park Fall Farmhouse kit, and a Simple Stories kit, which I'm combining to use up some of this paper.😊 I will use what ever scraps I have left to make cards, which I may just store in the pockets on top. Lots of stickers to use, plus my own embellishes. Thanks so much for sharing this album, Tina. I love making albums, and this one is so easy! I also love that I found coordinating page cardstock for kits I had to make this, and some cards and tags.☺️
I am viewing this a little bit after you actually posted it over 2 years ago but must say I have made many books for myself and others but I seem to have a habit of making it ‘hard’ but one view of this album of yours I must say I love it, design and process and just wanted to give you praise for it.. I live in Tasmania, which is a small State at the bottom of Australia so a little impossible to order through you but am about to go searching for a Tasmanian operator, I used to buy Stampin Up products years ago few decades ago but lots of changing be3n going on since then I currently buy from Close to my Heart because there was an agent near by..I love the measurement tool you are using in this video with the scorer conveniently also placed.. I am off to try to find your line to order from but thought you should have the credit for my move in product lines, you are a very good presenter also with easy to follow descriptions well done..

I've followed the video and its so simple, I've got my base album all done and now the fun part - decorating! going to use it as a keepsake / memory album for my 2 year old, all her newborn baby bits, cards etc. Been looking for the perfect make to create it and this is it. thanks again.

Hi Tina, although I'd seen this video before, I didn't use it. But: our daughter gave us a calico kitten last April 29th, only 7 weeks old - so now I desperately need an album!!! LOL
Thank you for the great video and fun project! Perfect for an album I am making for a friend and their trip to the Grand Canyon. I did make two small adjustments. for the spine piece, I attached it to the pages before adding the cover to make a little cleaner line on the edges. I also used Scor-Tape instead of liquid glue. Because I am not adding photos I wanted to make sure that it was very secure while they were adding their own touch. It also makes the top-loading pockets a little more smooth. I am SO very glad I came across your channel! I will definitely be subscribing and following along with more projects.
