Cut a tennis ball in a half you can use it to blend and clean your brushes as well cupped in your hand. Greatest tip ever.

@Southerngalsdesigns Just my 3¢...... BUT.... I have caught some of your videos on and off for a few years now ... And that being said I just now suddenly realised how funny adorable and snarky ( my favorite ) you are!! And I know you mention not being a professional and that you offten don't know what your talking about or trying to say or explain.... And that is totally OK, but I'm sure you are aware of or think that already. But at the end of the day that being said I think you are being real and sincere in what you are doing, thinking, and saying. And I don't think anybody can knock anyone for just being them selves !! I appreciate every bit of it and just a Thank You for making the content and sharing it with all of us !!!

Love your girl, love your videos! I grabbed a graphite pencil and my journal and followed along. Tried out holding my pencil loosely and close to the end, and it really made a difference!

If you don't have a blending stomp you can wrap a bit of paper towel around the point of a dull pencil, or a q-tip with most of it's cotton pulled off. I hope that you make two or three videos per week NOW because we need your fun conversations! Thank you! Stay healthy! You WERE the sunshine in my day as it is snowing like crazy where I am right now.

Thank you for making these videos! 💗I think your style is really great, &your art is really inspiring! ☺️ 🙂 🤗 🤩 You know I've contemplated whether or not I should bring this up since I don't want you to take this the wrong way, since I've watched about a dozen of your videos now, but I think I will. Your work is LOVELY, that's why I keep coming back. However, your volume levels keep startling me throughout your video, 😮 meaning, now when I watch your videos I know to turn the volume down ahead of time, easy pesy right, NOT really. When you talk, your volume level REALLY varies, meaning, I turn it down, so now I can't hear what you're saying, so I turn it back up, but then you get REALLY EXCITED, and BOOM your volume goes through the roof, I get startled😨 AGAIN, lose my train of thought, then I rinse and repeat the cycle. I turn you back down, then can't hear what you're saying. I'm afraid this whole startling thing has ruined the fun of watch your videos:(. 😨 A few other peeps I used to watch but stopped watching does the same thing, and it's really disappointing. I've given it a dozen try, and each time, the volume relativity just startles me and scares the be geez out of me. It's not just you, other great junk journal artsit does the same thing, when she's excited she starts shrieking and it startles me and ruins the whole experience for me, so i've stopped watching her channel because of it. I've kindly informed her of this since I really do love her work, but it was intolerable. Whatever inspiration she's conjured up in me is knocked right out of me when I get startled. Granted I know my sensitivity is HYPER and it's not normal ( normal people don't almost spit out their drink when someone shrieks in their video... I'm not normal but it's not really something I can help. Hopefully, you will take my comment in consideration in the future when you make videos, since it would be great to keep following your videos in the future, have a great day & thank you for listening:)☻☺🍄 🌾 💐 🌷 🌹 🥀 🌺 🌸 🌼 🌻 🌞

She’s amazing! You can make your own tortillons with rolled up paper. They have videos on it on RU-vid. Idk about blending stumps because they’re compressed, but the tortillons will work in a pinch.
