Hello! I am new here! I have been wanting to learn more about cooking and get some inspiration on healthy lunch ideas. Since I eat at work, im so tired of the premade meals. I feel my body is craving home cooked, healthy meals. I would love to keep watching! Thanks!
Mallerie, You've come to the right place! You can prep for the week on a Sunday afternoon. I work also and so hard to be motivated after work to do anything in the kitchen. Subscribe to her channel.
@@carmenn5609 Agreed! Thank you! I have found a new since of motivation to be more healthy even when doing lunch and snacking at work! I’m excited to get started!
Everything looks amazing! Also, I had no idea there was a difference between muffin tins and cupcake tins! I always learn something when I watch your videos. 🤍
I’m just now getting into vacuum sealing and it’s a game changer! Do you put the vacuum sealer bell peppers and onions in the freezer? If so, how long do they last in there for and how do you use them?
Although they’ll never be good for raw eating, I vacuum seal and freeze mine to use in cooking. I grow a years worth of peppers but I have never had luck growing onions. I buy 100lbs of onions from a local Amish farmer every summer to last me until the next. They both have always been fine for me for that long. I freeze some diced and some in strips. Obviously for me, doing that much, it’s a lot of prep but afterwards it’s super convenient to have them.
If you arrange with Amazon to have a recommendation page of your own, then you would only have to give the one link in the notes instead of listing each item individually and you would also receive a small percentage for the recommendation on each actual sale of those products. Then you would have room in the notes area to list the foods, recipes, entrees you are presenting in this video. 😁
Hi Adaline! Another great video! I put sourdough starter in my granola as well, I believe you were saying that you do too sometimes. I also put sour cream in my sheet pan eggs. Was following a recipe once that called for cottage cheese and I didn’t have that so I substituted sour cream and have done so since. It really does seem to make my oven baked eggs more fluffy. I have never thought of using oat flour in banana bread but that sounds so yummy that I am definitely going to try it. Thank you for the idea! Last time I found a deal on pineapple, I canned it. Have you ever canned it? If so, do you prefer canned or frozen?
Hey maybe none of my business, but wondering how your sis is doing. Have not seen a video in awhile. Figured they are busy with new baby. Hope she is well. (Just was learning citric acid was made from mold, weirdly made me think of her) hope that don't offend
@@lizzydod ,I keep buying type after type and can't find the "right" shred. This is perfect for those nut cookies. Nothing else works. Hopefully she will let us know once she see this
Not to be critical, but how many different vacuum sealing systems does one house need?! Wouldn’t it make sense to use the same sealing system for everything?
@@hereforthefun1256 Of course they will hold less the next time because you have to cut the seal off, so you can make the bags a little bigger to begin with if you want, or just use them for things you want less of.
We also make a very simple granola with maple syrup and coconut oil. We also add fruit after. If you add freeze dried early it will absorb oxygen, so yes, best to open and add at the last!
