Great advice Pavlin. I have been riding everyday in the city for the past 5 years. I agree with all your advice totally. Riding, in the city, if you go slow you will still go faster than everybody else. Safety above all. I use yellow and reflective gear at all times. That for me was key. I noticed that more drivers would acknowledge my presence. Sometimes they confuse me as police, which is good 😂

I spent many many years riding and commuting on two wheels in Los Angeles. You made many good points. Now I live miles from the smallest towns and I try to avoid even going there. All the decades of a congested city wore me down I suppose. However when I have to all those survival skills come right back like it’s always been there. Good video.

Hi Pavlin, I guess riding and knowing you are invisible to others is the best way to predict irregular traffic behavior and be descrete at the same time, at least in Greece. Some of the advice you suggest is useful in an context, other seems useful but context-related, so anyone can take what they need. This is even more important with a pilleon from my experience. Thanks for all the sharing, you do voice many concers fo the motorcycling world.

Hi Pavlin, I just wanted to say never leave your tank bag go unattended at petrol station in UK, unless you know where you are. Criminals here are not afraid of cctv, the attendants don’t get paid enough to care and police here are over stretched you be lucky if you get to see them

I agree 100% with you with the safety equipment even riding a Ryker I wear full gear. Other can choose what they want to do and will only say something only I'm asked. The safety rules and gear in Canada almost like the USA , very loose people ride with little or no equipment on the road , Riding a 3 wheel it similar with your comments driving in town ( I do a lot of it) but do to size of the ryker need to follow the traffic. I count to 3 on a green light while I am looking, I call the ones with no gear Skin donor been there did that , i guess getting have good side been bit more cautious, Alain & Yellow

I had 3 accidents, all were in the city. In the city where I lived! And all three times caused by cars, not my fault. I left space between me and the car in front of me, but there was another car coming from the next lane and unfortunately the first car had to make an emergency brake and I didn't have enough space because of the second car that braked hard only about a meter or two in front of me. It always happened in a fraction of a second that I didn't have time to make space again.

always try to swerve instead of brake (or combine the two, shed some speed then swerve)..compared to cars moto brake is not that good (or you are not that good at it when trying to survive an accident)..I know easily said than done..sometimes these survival reactions are impossible to control
