How adorable is this needle book. I'm going to make one but I need it taller for my long doll needles too. So I just have to adjust my sizes of fabrics. Thank you. This is the best tutorial on making these types of books.
At 2:39 what is that cute little press called? Some kind of mini iron? That would be great for small projects. Traditionally the needle books were a child's first sewing project, where they'd practice their hand sewing stitches on the felt, and then construct the book to keep their precious needles. If you use wool felt (not craft felt) for the actual part that the needles go into, It's supposed to keep them from rusting . I picked up some wool felt and it feels nice to the touch, like it's hand lotion, from the natural lanolin in the wool I guess. Craft felt just feels dry.

I just bought a sewing machine at a garage sale, I have been trying to figure it out for weeks. It didn’t come with any instructions. I’m pretty sure it’s the same machine you are using. I really don't know. Before selling, I would look at my cost to make and research if someone else is selling a similar item to use as price point reference.
