I like your play.

Really relate to your style. We are a similar age, I’m like you but on piano. I can read music but I prefer doing things by ear. I’ve always been able to pick things up instantly, and I play a lot of pop too. And I can hear in the way you play that it’s by ear and not sheet music because it sounds so fluid like it’s actually a voice. When people learn pop songs through sheet music it never sounds properly like a voice, but I can see where you improvise little inflections and details that a singer would and it’s exactly what I do and it makes it that much more beautiful!
