I strongly agree but I have to point out that he Called the low e the first string and that is not only incorrect, it is laziness because he knows his high e from his low e I’m willing to bet he has a good understanding of pitch and theory in general but for a beginner guitarist that type of mistake will gatekeep beginners because they will be confused af. Don’t care what you think I am a master guitar player that started at 18 and am now 31 and I learned a ton from Marty but I also experienced this type of crap and it almost made me quit. Too much narcissistic misinformation in this world and I am sick of it, idol worship and delusional narcissism all around the board. Not theories this is God’s truth get right or get left. But thank you Marty for teaching me many songs just be careful with misinformation it is the devil

@@aaronswift3705 I don't know how advanced you are, but as a fellow lefty I would suggest that if you are still at a very early stage, that you start over playing the normal way, and while it will feel weird at first, once you get going you will make mad progress because you already have dexterity and precision in your fretting hand

Just to clarify for beginners: The first string on a six string guitar is the sixth string at the bottom, which is located on the top.
