Easy Origami Rose Video Tutorial 

Tip: open the center before you wrap the rose. I've been folding roses (and have designed my own as seen in my profile pic) for almost 3 years and I've found this to help. Also, you can flip the model upside down and reinforce those 4 sides that connect to the center square. That will help you when you start wrapping. I crease those very hard. If you notice your roses are kinda not staying together well, then after you wrap it, take your pinkie and put it in the center and rotate your pinkie clockwise and the rose counter clockwise. Keeping that tension with your left hand, you should be able to close it with your right no problem and it'll stay together better.

If you are watching this to give to someone special : I urge you, Even if your rose doesn't come out perfect the 1st time, please include it with your gift. I believe the sentiment behind TRYING to create the perfect rose is worth more in value than the best . It will at the very least bring a smile to their face.

I would recommend using a different color of paper if you're going to work on a white background. It's difficult to see what's happening, particularly when you start subtly folder the paper around into its circular shape. What you're doing is sometimes out of the camera view. I really found this helpful for my room since I’m trying to decorate it more. Though I *do* recommend changing the background since it’s like the exact same color as the paper and makes it harder to see. Beautiful rose though!

@Andy Origami. First off, thanks, unlike so many roses, this one is both beautiful and reasonably easy to make! Secondly, as a suggestion. Once you have finished a stage, please take a moment to show the entire rose, so that the viewer can see how the entire thing looks. Just so that we have be sure, that our rose looks the same.

Finally someone that looks like I do while folding origami ;) I can't wait to make this. It's lovely!

Best video I found! Thank you very much. I used construction paper. I got the spiral part on my third rose, the first two just look very bloomed haha! I thumb tacked them to green pencils and filled a cup. They look great
