The fact that any small concept that makes up this printer (such as the retractable control interface) could be used for so much is genuinely amazing

Thanks for the shout out! My script can be a bit of a pain to set up, so it's nice to see a build where the hard work has already been done.

A great, user friendly solution. Makes it more like a real printer by accessing menus as opposed to going through control panels, allowing you to see what's going on at the same time. One of my pet peeves is trying to align projections through control panel and I think this could be a great solution for my use case (I'm aware of control panel transparency and using a remote block, but this solution seems more.... elegant?)

I spent several dozens of hours on this game already but I barely scratched the surface of it. I just finished making my first real ship and was trying to find some cool printer creations and your design is amazing. It's just a shame that I keep messing it up by trying to understand how to extend it :'( Keep up the content , it's really great !

I remember seeing this in another video where multiple welding arms were used to weld up parts of a ship and then later combine them into one single unit. and it was all automated.

This is pretty cool, Personally I just use Build Vision 3.0 for configuring projectors- though it's a Mod it's one of those ones I find to be one of those "Should be in the base game" mods.

... sounds odd, but it looks and feels like a real printer. :D i mean ... REAL printer options, over an LCD panel, all the functions like a real printer would have, but portet over to print ships ... just great. :D Thats how it should be imo. My own setups are way to complicated compared to this.

I'm having a weird issue where in one creative world it works perfectly, another the screens are black and don't function and on a survival world the buttons say "activation failure" when pressed. Edit: Not sure what fixed it but after checking the world settings and loading back in it works perfectly.

this is awesome, but how do you build this in survival? I have a "printer" ot as fancy as thisone, and it only prints the big section, not the subgrids. I welded in the subgrids myself, and now non of the logistics work, monitors dont work... no clue what im doing here.

How do you fuel the ships you print ? Dont they just fall if you detach ?

Hey i start using it buy for some reason is lags the server so much that my Mining ship with Pam started crashing. Can Serverlag force the Pamscript to malfunktion?
