Dope video Dave! Never knew how easy it could be to just drag & drop sequences for transitions in Premiere. Also appreciate the little shoutout at the end 🙌 KEEP KILLIN' IT
Started using these transitions with a mixture of other elements I added into the photos. Really adds a great mixed media touch to music videos. Amazing tutorial, and honestly very little effort is needed to get great results. Thank you!
Man, you guys are killing the tutorial game right now.!

the paper torn transition has been very usful in the last year alot of editors using it and you make the problem resolved for all how is wondering great video pro🥰
Following you back to back all the way from Nigeria, learnt alot from your channel. Thank you 🙏🙏 just want to be the first to drop a comment so you would see😃
Wooowwww!!!! Learned a lot from the video and great channel. Doing a study in Media Design we learn more of the basics, but your video's really help me bring my projects to next level!! I'm grateful!! 👏🙏
Awesome tutorial Dave ! I love this effect as it adds another dimension to the video. Although this is very time consuming, I am thankful that you brought up envato elements. I have wasted a ton of time looking for paper rips. I have a few suggestions here : you can use puppet tool in photoshop to adjust paper rips to the sides. It makes it look even better. Secondly, rather than having smooth slide in motion, you can have a sort of stop motion with Hold key frames. Thirdly, to transition out of the paper to reality, you can use burning paper transition overlay which is available in hd quality on envato elements. I did this effect in the order I tell you for a client and man it came out awesome !
@@HeavyReverb ahh yes your tutorial on puppet tool would be really helpful. It’s hard to create a balance between over transformation and pixels. They sort of break down when I over do it. Kindly consider this as a tutorial in future
i like the ideas and everything just a suggestion, please try to give alternate one for the elements you used in envato because not everyone can afford, it would be helpful in the future
I know this is from a year ago, but you can find free assets like these. I didn't have the paper tears, so I just downloaded torn paper and lasso tooled the parts I needed + reshaped them for my needs. You can use any textures and elements your mind comes up with, just takes a little extra work before getting started.
Please forgive me for choosing this video to say something since MANY who put out editing tuts do it. Guys it's time to let go of the cylinder!! You know. That Phallic symbol that some of you wrap ginormous wind screens on like dudes stuffing socks in their pants. Please people. We already know you've invested sick amounts of ducats for your gear but it's time to graduate from the bang to the BOOM! **And yes I LOVE your content. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time!
Hi, everytime i save a png each cut is a different size and they don't match once i bring them in premiere can you please tell me how to save pngs so that will keep the same size? thank you and great video
100% with the arrow plugin you just avoid the extra step with the "save" window and you can pretty much copy and then paste into photoshop. the default option is cool but I think if you're doing these kinda transitions with multiple images the arrow plugin is a keeper. Plus its Free. 🙌
you can use Premiere. take the picture within premiere and then mask and add the paper rips around the image. You might have to get a good workflow going but its possible.
In my Adobe Premiere 6.0 and then a little later on in my Adobe Pro 1.5 I had the ability to add and change the thickness of a colored border only on the edges of the, "video transition" not the entire clip! Now that I'm in Premiere 2022 how do I achieve this? The only option it gives me is the duration of the video transition! So in other words I just want to put a colored blue border, kind of thick on the edge of a push or slide! Can you tell me that?
same. when going into the extension tab within premiere, "Copy frame to clipboard" is disabled. tried everything that it states in compatibility on the website.
