sucks it took me 3.5 years to figure out this hack. i used truck bed toggle hooks, that work great, pain to remove and reinstall. appreciate the post. getting a sub from me sir.
I looked into the linq brackets you used , but didn’t think they would work I used Wes Industries Linq quick release adapters and I have a kimpex nomad seat I believe the bronco/Wes seat like yours actually has 4 indents on the bottom to drill for the Wes mounts I only had to drill 4x 3/8” holes in the bottom of my seat instead of a “linq sized hole” like you did Cool to see how you did it tho, I also wanted to be able to take seat off quickly and not have semi permanent u-bolts like most do
Glad I seen this comment. I just got the Nomad seat for my Outlander with this style rack. I was trying to figure out how I could do it with maybe an elevator bolt or T-Bolt but those adapters are exactly what I need.
Mine are still working great, I have seen another brand somewhere, that appears to be a rubber squish, instead wes’s bolt and nut style, but I think the Wes would be stronger/ more reliable
I would totally do that but wisconsin likes to over govern and make laws for everything, so those two up seats are illegal. Glad your able to get your little guy out with ya tho.
Yes, if you were to have an accident with a passenger in the seat the insurance company would drop you like a hot potato. Just a fyi. I sold my single seater and brought a outlander 1000r two up.
