I have been wanting to make a plaid. I love your pattern idea I think I’m going to make some mini samples from mini Skeins I got 32 colors for Christmas. Have you ever done this I was taught this method in college make your sample you wouldn’t even have to sew them together and arrange them on a Xerox 3:15 machine and take a black and white copy this allows me to make a decision about the gradient without looking at the color. Then I can number each square between one and 10 from light to dark, thank goodness for my art teacher for teaching us this.
