I have a Floral and Interior Design background and it is fun to add to the "knowledge" to all the creative things I have done over the years past. Nice love it great job you can use a rolling pin to help with bumps with the wet glue and zip dry doesn't leave bumps and it's a wet glue. I will try your way next mini big hugs Jessie
This is a great and easy tutorial to follow. I just finished lining my Chipboard and am about to glue it all together. I used the lunch bags from Michael's $1.50 bin and adjusted my measurements for the size of the bags. I'm also thinking of gluing the bottom inside part of the bags closed so I can make the mats that you insert shorter and keep them from sliding all the way down in the bag (which would drive me nuts). I think just a couple of finger dabs of glue on the inside at the gusset should do the trick. The bags in the bin have a printed image on them, so you can just mat them before you glue them together. It's the only adjustment I had to make, but the bags are so much cheaper than the other ones (you get I think 6 to a bag for 1.50) and they are a much better weight than the package of bags that you get from the grocery store. I'm definitely going to be stocking up on them, as this IS a very easy tutorial to follow. I've been paper crafting for years and I just started making mini books. I own a store so I used OLD USPS shipping boxes from orders I get in as chipboard and I save every envelope I get that's made from Tyvek Thanks so much for sharing!

Dog food bags work great in place of the fed ex stuff, but I use glossy accents to glue it. I started using this as hinges on fairy houses because it will be water proof

Hey Amy, I know this video is a few months old... But I have made a few albums and did not have the mailing envelopes available for my binding... So I used zip lock bags! They worked well with my scor- tape (or red tape). I have not experienced any problems. Just sharing-- love your techniques! Still watching-and learning! Thanks!

Thank you for this video. I have found something cute I can make my granddaughters for Christmas that won't take me a month to finish. my 2nd viewing of this series want to do this as a project for my volunteer craft group and wanted a sample that followed exactly! a vedio series. I'm using grocerie bags for my "follow the instructions sample" l have several other samples, all different! the fedex envelope is Tyvek. you can get it at stationary store as envelopes, or at home centers for mega bucks! some of the paper crafters talk about the Tyvek tape. I'm going to have to tracksome of that down. Tyvek is goog to line boxes for acid free storage and for sewing pattern fitting. I scored 2 rolls of the stuff (about $100 worth) of a neighborhood trash pile!
