Back when I learned the basics with my bictory, I made the mistake of making it heavier by putting a lot of electric tape at the tips. It felt quite crappy because the ends were heavy, but the body was still too light. I almost quit because I didn't like spinning with it. He's right when he says that you need to invest in a better pen mod when you really get into this hobby.
Oki, i fell in love with pen spinning a year and a half ago, and im quite poor and lazy so i only used normal pens or pencils, and they always worked quite well, not professional and really hard to control, but still its fun, and quite the show off in school
Funny cuz,im so poor that when i made my bic mod,i used plastic tips lol,but it kinda worked lol Also,you can use different grips,it doesnt mean you should use like what alex used Also,you can remove the backplug using a cross/+ philips screw driver to remove it,you just have to insert the screwdriver in the barrel then push until it pops off
I know it has been 6 months and you have probably moved on to better pen mods by now, but like Alex said, use metal tips. Plastic tips really don't add much momentum or weight.
You can probably put some small ball bearings inside at the end of the grips for added weight. Maybe wraps some rubber bands at the end too for some added bulk to the ends.
@@IAmMuffin.not really, actually some dc mods use plastic tips. they're good for distributing momentum. g3 plastic tip is very useful for mods like vsg-3, and plastic tips are used in many mods to extend the length of a mod
an alternative to grips/tips use some ballpoint pen caps. it adds some nice weight and if you want you can put something in the cap for extra weight the caps i used were "dong a fine tech 0.3" caps.
I just take an un-sharpened no.2 pencil and put 2 cap erasers on the different ends, they can be really big and bulky or really small but you need 2 of the same ones.
Even though i love how his mod looks, so much so i made one myself, i prefer to use BIC Velocity Pen grips for my bictory, as it adds more weight. ALso i like to remover the ink entirley so there is no ink in my mod :P
It is better than a regular pen though? I don't know why but I've been pen spinning with just a regular pen for like 2 years. Very casually. I only know 3/4 of the basic tricks (not sonic yet but gonna learn that today). I was wondering if it's even worth it for me to make this or if it's better for me to just keep my pen (which I can at least write with)
Pilot G2 work instead of Pilot G3? I want to get into pen spinning but the place I’m buying this from has no Pilot G3 and only Pilot G2. Also, does a Pilot BPGP Super Grip work instead of a pilot bdgp-10-f-r?

I have both - with and without ink. And without it, Bictory spins terrible, body should have some center weight, without ink, it has no center weight. I told that in the video, btw.
Everything about this tutorial is okay, but wtf do you mean that plastic tips are useless plastic g3 used in tons of g3s, watto g3 uses gel roller tip, coffee vp uses supergrip tip, vsg-3 uses jimknock tip and plastic g3,joules dc uses g2 plastic tips, hibiki dc uses sarasa tips. plastic tips are extremely useful bruh

Сильно плохо будет если я вместо г3 типов возьму pilot bps вес 1.3г, просто хочу собрать вместо этой коченной жигао в5 она тупа развалилась. Норм ли будет если я уже выучил намного больше базы сейчас на уровне флашей и первых комб?
