Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear you loved these🤗! Guuurrl you and me both! 😬That's exactly what I was trying to figure out when I made these. Whether I should paint them or not. Not a fan of the shape of these pots glad I figured out a way to hide them.lol 😁👌!
Great ideas! I was just eyeballing a pretty 35$ basket on h&m home yesterday that pretty much looked like the first one you created! Place mats are also a staple in many thrift shops. Yeay, thank you!
I use the bubble style shower mats from dollar tree. You can spray paint the back in your color choice and wrap it around planters. I also use them by cutting out flower shapes or fish, abstracts, birds, etc. ,then I use thumb tacks and push pins to hold it on. I have one where I cut out the word "peace" ,painted the back with different colors and tacked it on the planter. I'm planning to do others with Love, Joy etc. These are great outside. Now my houseplants will get makeovers with your ideas. ❤
Thank you for the ideas! I was just trying to decide whether to spend some extra money to get a prettier pot or paint it, which may or may not look so great. I have some extra fabrics I can try covering the pot with so I will try your method instead!
Perfect timing! I'm getting some big plants for my balcony but could only find ugly grey plastic pots to fit them in... Problem solved, thank you so much!!! The placemat design is genius :)
Love love love your videos , they are super easy yet so creative . I really wonder why dont u hve millions of subscribers because u deserve that . Have a great Day lily❤️
Neat idea. Save yourself some time and money, by going to Ross, and look for runners instead. That way you dont have to piece them together. Also, home depot sells long rolls of sliced bamboo, in different sizes.
Great ideas 💡 but I was a tad puzzled with the plastic nursery pots they have holes at the bottom & noticed none of your pots had water reserve saucers underneath each pot? How would one cover those ugly saucers?
Yes! Just the idea I had to cover these ugly containers on my deck. I’m wanting to plant tomato plants on my deck so my sick husband can have a gardening hobby. He has COPD, on oxygen, lost 2/3 of a lung, has breathing problem and I need to keep where he can garden.
I really like the aesthetic of your the plaster of Paris. It looks really good. Have you thought about investing in cachepots? I used to transplant my plants from their nursery planters into ceramic planters, but hiding the nursery planter inside a cachepot is so much easier.
This is such a great idea - very creative! I really like how your ideas are original. My favorite was the plaster covered one! ❤ Is plaster available at Wal-Mart?
@@diylilyardor3435 So funny you responded today! I went to Wal-Mart literally today and picked up some plaster of paris. I took a dollar pot and wrapped it with the new nautical rope from DT and I'm planning on doing the plaster "treatment" you did in your video
I’m glad you liked it. Oh man, my hubby said the same thing. I need to start doing a different background for projects with white supplies 🙈🙈 thanks for letting me know.
@@diylilyardor3435.. You're most welcome. Sometimes I hesitate to say something, but with you having such lovely diy's, it's nice for you to know that we do find it a little difficult with the over exposure of light. Thanks for not taking offense.. 💝
@@TheThriftyGma NOT at all offended! I love hearing feedback like this. Most times I can't see things until someone points it out to me! It's such a big eye opener and makes it easier for me to produce easily understandable content moving forward! Thank you though seriously! Much appreciated! 😊😊🤗
