You are supposed to wash pork in salt water because there's always bone fragments because pork bones are very very hard to cut so you supposed to wash them and cold water with salt and scrub those bone fragments off.
U should try searing those chops b 4 putting them in the crock. They look and taste so much better 😊 2 min on each side. I fry mine in oil in a grille 🍳🥘...pan .
This is pretty much how i do mine....was shown this at 21 by my aunts. They did diff veggies at times...carrots ...little potatoes...mushroom soup..dry onion soup mix. Chicken..or pork chops...also thin sliced...never washed chicken or pork...im past 70...still kickin....so do it your way.! ❤❤ im at store now...gonna do this...havent for a while...😊. Love crock pots!!
I have pork chops in my freezer I need to deal with right now. Couldn’t have timed it better, as I’m cooking my way thru the freezer before we defrost it. This looks good! I like everything you added, my husband loves mushrooms which I don’t cook very often. I don’t wash my chops! If I was in another country, maybe! So I called 3 local butchers with good reps, and a local chain store. Nope! No need to! If you’re really worried when you open your package look them over. If anything at all I’d use a paper towel, not wash. Heck, if you’re really worried run them thru the dishwasher! They’ll be clean and cooked probably! 😂 Looks good, I use the no salt added soups when possible, or Healthy Request. Have a great Friday, the weekend is finally here beginning around 5 or so for us. Yay! You two enjoy yourselves! Thanks Justine! 😎🌞🌻🍄🟫👍🇺🇸
