This was great!! I've been doing wire wrapping for years. I love the elegant simplicity of this. You did a great job in the tutorial. Don't change anything. You are a good instructor. Thank you ❤
Really lovely design and r tutorial was very well done. You were slow, thorough, and explained and , show every step very, very well Thank you for sharing this design and I look forward to seeing how you wrap your gem stones. Great job!
This is the first time I’m seeing one of your videos and I love how slow you go so I don’t have to back it up 20 times 😅. One thing that I have found that is really helpful is if you put all materials needed in the description with lengths so I can be prepared to work with you. I also love how you give a range of wire gages so I can have one of each size so when I pause to do a few of the pedals I can easily try a different size before I move to the next step. I’m 56 and just started trying to make metal jewelry so the more I can get ready for the lesson and your speaking slower and clearer it really helps thank you so much ❤❤
Thank you! That looks so much easier than I thought it was going to be. Also I love the color of your fingernail polish!! I appreciate the time you took to make this video. 👍👏
I just want to say that you’re an excellent teacher!! Threre’s no problem there! But here’s a tip for you on wire: that I learned the hard way: Wire comes in three hardnesses: 1. Dead Soft 2.Half Hard 3. Hard It appears that you are using half hard on this project, but 18 gage is thick enough to use dead soft wire with& you will save your hands from wear and tear if yo go with a softer wire. Not only is it easier, but I you cannot replace your hands! And take it from an old lady, your hands will wear out! Best of luck to you, Elisabeth🌹
I made earrings from this tutorial for a weekly submission to a jewelry making group I’m in. I put your link in my submission so others might try this design and follow your great demonstration of making this component. I really love it. Thank you so much 🌸
This is also my first time seeing you and you are a pro!!! Beautiful jewelry, beautiful red ❤nails and a great tutorial all around! I will be looking forward to seeing more of your creations! Did you ever think of the possibilities of dipping the petals in resin dip? I love ❤️ them the way that they are but there could be other modifications! Also, would preflattened wire work? Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful jewelry with us! I'll look forward to seeing more of your work!! Keep the faith and know that we all appreciate you and your creations!💙💜💚💛🧡🩷
I just discovered your channel...great job with explaining the process and the close-up parts of the video. Looking forward to seeing more! The flower is gorgeous. These would make lovely earrings. I also think it's great that you're willing to be teachable regarding people's suggestions. ❤
There so pretty!! You can put a bail on both sides of the flower and make a linked necklace or glasses holder with them 🤷🏽♀️ I have to order more wire I loved your tutorial. I’m so happy I found your channel!!
Very nice video and you will get better as you do it more. One question, how big was the piece you started with? Don’t want to run out halfway lol😊. It looked like 5 inches or so. Good job on the camera shots, many people have trouble with distance and close ups. ❤loved the outcome
The tool you did know the name of, it's called a, "metal micro coil jig." Jigs are very helpful making different shapes and wire cones. Cool use of a tool. Thank you for the video, it was very precise and well taught. Look forward to watching more.🙂
This is so cool, love the simple design, yet elegant looking. Thank you for sharing and making the tutorial, I will be making this 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻. You are awesome and wonderful ❤️🥰
The dark blue handel tool is often called a mandrel thats the round one, you said, you didnt know, whats called, i thought i would let you know, most tools for bending and forming are refered to as mandrels in wire jewelry and anything you would use that is round such as a bracelett mandrel, hope this was helpful to you. lovely video really nice work, well done, such a beautiful flower project. thank you laura in Uk
Thank you for posting. You do nice work, but what do you do about the tool marks from bending the wire? Is it possible to coat your bending tools with a rubberized coating?
Yes, you can use Plasti Dip to avoid that. But honestly, I don’t use it😅 I try my best to not scratch up the wire too much but sometimes it just happens
Awesome video, I love how you don't sit and talk talk talk. So many videos people talk about things that don't even pertain to the subject. You explain perfectly on each step. Its 2 am I'm sitting here wanting to run to the craft store and start yet another project I'm currently in the middle of making roserys. First time trying its fun. 😁
I have been looking for ways to make various wire charms and this is exactly what I've been looking for! This is also the first time I've found your channel and am subscribing. Thank you!
I have a RU-vid channel as well. I haven't uploaded in a year. I think you did very well showing and explaining your process. I wish you luck on your channel. I did subscribe. This is the first video I saw of yours. I think I might try to make your flowers. Simple and pretty.
Hi i have been trying ro follow up, but no matter what i do, 6 petals dont get into shape for me... They overlap each other and i cannot seem to fix it :( do you have an what i could do?
Hello ,you explain it very well I also a business owner my self and I do handmade jewelry and do little wire wrap put I want to do more wire wrapping make pendants or Small charms but my question is what if I don’t have a flat nose what other players I can used to flatten the petals and putting all together if I can make it smaller for bracelets if I can used artistic wire, German wire, copper and 925 silver or color gold I hope I hear from you soon have a great night and wonderful weekend
Great detailed explanation and close focussed images, to be your second video, it is well done. Keep doing them. How did you go with the market?😊 just joking.
I love your explainations! I've always wanted to try wire wrapping but everytime I try it just falls apart. Here is a thought... Could you put really tiny beads at the point of the petals? It's just a thought.
This is your first video I've watched. I love the technique but you have to talk louder. Even with both headphones in and the volume as loud as it goes, I can barely hear you. I love the flower and hope the volume issue is a 1 off of this video compared to the rest.
Greetings from Tucson, Arizona USA Just discovered your channel and subscribed. our instructions are spot on. Clear and easy to follow. I'm ordering UV Dip resin and your flowers will be perfect!
Hello New Sub, WOW!! Thanks for showing how you make these flower necklaces also your fliwees looks like Bezels where you can add either uv resin or just resin and decorate the petals even more just an idea I had !! Love your work and yiur channel Great Job !!!❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰♥️💜♥️💜♥️💙🎉🎉🎉
It depends on what are you looking for... If you are monetizing your skills, it's a non stop battle for more(viewers/money)... But if it's about your passion and talent, then go with your call, express yourself through your work of art, and people will follow you! This is not smtg to make you rich, but rather satisfied and happy. I myself wear all my works, and people admire them and wonder how can I make such a rare kind of jewelry, but they keep wearing a piece of gold, cause it's too much trouble to keep changing everyday the earrings/rings/bracelets/etc according to the moment, occasion, your disposition or whatever reason!... So, keep it up and stay happy! May God grant you the money and the strength for your art, cause we all know it's neither cheap, nor easy❣️👏👍🥰🙏
I like your project but will need to use a smaller guage wire. Too much arthritis in my hands. Have you thought about wire wrapping small faceted crystals around the edge of each petal? They could be clear, crystal ab or transparent color crystals. I know that many young people like a "less is more" style in jewelry but I am a bit old fashioned and prefer glitter and crystals to balance out the design. Thanks for sharing your idea and I look forward to watching more of your videos.😊
Try 20 or 22 gauge! Although, it may not be as strong and bend easily when worn. Great idea! I will try wrapping smaller crystals around each petal.☺️ Thank you for watching!!
10:30 This was the only part I didn’t understand clearly- when you said that you do 2 wraps around, I couldn’t see what you were wrapping that 24 gauge wire around. Please excuse my beginner level understanding! Lol
This is great. I'm glad you showed up on my feed. I have one question as to how long the wire was before you worked with it. Thank you and more of these please!
Thanks for such detailed clear instructions even measurements. Im going to try tonight. Thanks so much for sharing. One question: What length wire did you start with?
