Ive Not changed a fuel filter for a long time.... olden days we had to de-pressurise the fuel system pull the fuse for the fuel pump and crank the engine.. do you still do that...? quick and precise vid N x

To anyone watching this, do yourselves a favour, get a plastic filter not an aluminium one, just done one of these on my xsara picasso ( exactly the same as this video ) the car had an aluminium filter on and was a nightmare to disconnect. The pump side fuel pipe connector came off pretty easy, but the fuel pipe going to the engine, nothing but trouble. The problem was, the aluminium pipe on the filter which inserts into the connector had corroded inside the connector and was locked in there good. what should have been a 10 minute job turned into an hour 🤬, if it had been a plastic filter it would have came off a lot easier.... Time for a couple of Beers
